Yantian International Port mainly serves European and American routes. Due to the epidemic, the slow operation of ports in Europe and the United States affects the normal operation time of flights. As a result, the period for storing heavy containers at Yantian Port was extended from the normal 3-5 days to about 9.5 days. The detention time was more than doubled. Seriously it affects the storage operation cycle of the terminal, making the space unable to be released normally, and reduces the storage capacity of heavy containers.

       In response to the appeal of the Shenzhen Municipal Transportation Bureau, it is recommended that export containers shipped after the Spring Festival holiday should not be shipped to the port area for the time being to avoid peak hours and avoid unnecessary waiting.
